The University of Florida Visits Shinetech in China
The University of Florida prepares business leaders for careers in international management. Students enrolled in the Hough Graduate School of Business at the Warrington College of Business Administration have the opportunity to participate in a program known as the Global Immersion Experience. Last week, a delegation of students and faculty members from the University of Florida had the unique opportunity to learn firsthand from two of Shinetech’s top executives at Shinetech’s China location.
During our time together, I spoke directly with students along with other top executives at Shinetech to mentor and guide them to a better understanding of international business. Our discussions included the company's practices in software outsourcing and the unique business environment in China.
Students were given the opportunity to hear about the challenges and rewards of running an international business and hear insights concerning details of operation such as expansion in the market and assessing client satisfaction, as well as industry trends.
This marks the third year Shinetech has participated in hosting University of Florida students, part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen student’s understanding of global business by providing first-hand experience of a successful international company in the country where that company operates and experiences top growth.
